Layers + Landscapes is an ongoing series of mixed-media collages and photographs that document American landscapes. Using my own photographs as source material - I cut, layer, and remix images into dreamlike interpretations that challenge perspectives of traditional landscape photography. The act of cutting and reassembling transforms the photograph into a study of perception — how we see, remember, and reconstruct place.
